sting show

Saw Sting last night with Vinnie on drums. Was cool cause I wasn't expecting him to be there (plus it was a free show). I hear they're doing one in NYC soon. Good mix of the old Sting/Police and newer songs. Gary Sinese introduced the show and Johnny Lang opened (missed Lang). Vinnie didn't sound loud enough (toms sounded especially low in the mix), but then again, I was zoned in on the drums.

Good show with a few of those 'jumbo' TVs around. Some cool "artsie" effects and solid playing by all. Not much room from improv, but humorous to see VC in a Cubs hat (bass player too).
